Three men have been arrested as part of the investigation into alleged child sexual exploitation in Sheffield and Rotherham.
They are aged 21, 23 and 28 and were detained on suspicion of committing a number of offences against underage girls between 2005 and 2009.
South Yorkshire Police said the 28-year-old was arrested at a property in the Hackenthorpe area of Sheffield.
The 21-year-old was arrested in Leeds and the other man in Arbourthorne, Sheffield.
Rotherham has been at the centre of a child sexual exploitation scandal since a report last year said 1,400 children - some as young as 11 - had been the victims of "horrific" crimes such as rape, grooming and trafficking between 1997 and 2013.
